for Conservation Foundation (AFC) – formerly the Worldwide Nature Artists
Group (WNAG) – is a non-profit, international organization dedicated to the
celebration and preservation of the natural world. The Foundation
represents the world’s leading collective of nature artists and an
unparalleled pool of artistic talent focussed on nature. The organization’s
mission is to support wildlife and habitat conservation, biodiversity,
sustainability and environmental education through art that celebrates our
natural heritage.

The Purple Hills Studio Tour is held
each year during the last weekend in September.
The Tour includes approximately 40 artists. The community of Creemore,
Ontario is the hub of this wheel of activity. Visitors are welcomed
and encouraged to visit Studios and Guests in the local area. |

Away" is a home grown company based in Kitchener, Ontario. You need
not look any further for your carving supplies. If you can't get IT at
"Chipping Away", it isn't worth having. Seriously, this is a great
source for your carving supplies.

The Western Woodcarvers offer a great week of carving and camaraderie each
July. The "Carving School" is held at Doane College in Crete,
Nebraska. A wide variety of courses is offered and the cost includes
accommodations and meals. A fantastic event for the avid carver at any
skill level.
